Stable Cyano Columns

I know that cyano columns are inherently less stable than other reversed phase columns.

We are planning to buy one for one of our applications.

My questions: is the Agilent Zorbax still the most stable option out there; or does anyone want to recommend a better one.

Out of curiousity, do you know why the cyano columns are less stable? Is it inherent in the -CN end group?
