Hi there for validation I have to perform a selectivity study, which involves injecting blank, standard samples, placebo, internal standard etc.

Is it acceptable to use the blank, resolution, and standard preparation from system suitability to fulfill some of these criteria and minimise run time?

Thanks in advance

I don't see any problem (but then again, I'm not the one reviewing your method!). Just make sure that you document that ahead of time in your validation plan. If it were me, I'd run it past whoever reviews/audits for your company and make sure they're OK with it.
