Looking for a universal PDF chromatogram generator

I'm exploring the possibility of off the shelf software solutions for my lab. We currently use Perkin Elmer, Shimadzu and Agilent FID systems. They all use dual column, dual detector arrangements to produce two chromatograms from one injection. Currently we have a bespoke set of programs and macros that generate a pdf to our spec - basically landscape view, both chromatogram channels displayed one above the other with area % displayed on each peak. It runs each time a sample finishes. Another program then uploads it to our bespoke LIMS system. It works for the Perkin Elmer and Agilent softwares but not Shimadzu.
I am looking to see if there is anything that can do this that is an off the shelf setup and can preferably work with the Shimdazu software aswell. The program is notoriously complex to troubleshoot requiring more programming knowledge than we'd like for front end analytical chemists. I can set instruments up, fix them etc.. but writing programs is beyond my knowledge. The guy who made the software may not support it much longer either leaving us in the lurch. We either hire another software engineer to pickup where he left off or get an off the shelf solution. The latter is likely more expensive but support is going to be more readily available around the world.
I've had a look at Chromperfect, which seems interesting. I've heard Empower may do this aswell. Has anyone encountered anything else?
