is this possible?

We were running a TCLP extra for 8260 volatiles and it was VERY heavy in surfactants. As a result, the blanks have shown a raising baseline. We have clipped off 12 inches out of the column, and checked to make sure there are no air leaks...

We still have an elevated baseline at around 18 minutes....

Any suggestions?
I was thinking of pulling the column out of the mass spec and baking the column overnight at 260 C...

Direct injection of a standard still look bad?
