Hello,

I am in desperate need of some help with analysing chromatograms.

What causes the large peak at the beginning of chromatograms???

And also, when calculating noise and drift of the baseline... i'm a bit stuck... i measured the FSD height to be 124mm which converts to 10mV... but how do i measure noise and drfit? because then i need my noise to estimate LOD and LOQ.

just to clarify my question...

I have to find the noise and drift...

when drawing my lines in order to measure noise that follow after my chlorine ion peak... are they just two straight lines...one that runs above the highest noise peak and one that runs below the lowest noise? ...and then do i measure the length between these two lines and convert from mm-->mV using my FSD?
