I think you need to first upload your photo to a hosting site like IMGUR.com, that's what I do. Then use the Image

Thanks, that's what I did, but I didn't see the image.

I'll play with some things.

All I see is the word Image where you have the image embedded. In the quoted text I see the img tag and the link to your image, but in the normal post I only see the word. Could it be I have a setting wrong to display the images?

Sorry, I can't help any further. I see the image today, and I'm computer-dumb, and use Windows 7 and Firefox.

I use the same OS and Browser, must be something I have wrong in settings. Or possibly the corporate network is filtering it out.

I'm seeing occasional problems displaying images from some photo hosting sites. In some cases of my own it may simply be that the link has expired or that the original link was "http" where sites now require "https". In other cases, the site seems to be trying to monetize content and is no longer supporting posting to bulletin boards.

I did some playing around and found that ImgBB.com (https://imgbb.com/) seems to work. Here's a pic of my dog, Socks that I just uploaded:

This is the code (I've inserted a space after "img" and before "/img so that it shows the code, not the pic):

On this post I still only see the word "Image" where you have the photo inserted and no hyperlink or image displayed, but when replying to this I see the full code displayed for the embedded image. It must be some setting I have in FireFox, eventually I will figure it out.

I can see the image both in my original post and in the copy embedded in your reply. I tried it both in Chrome and Firefox, with no difference. I also tried posting the same image on another board that is also based on phpBB, and there was no problem. So yes, it looks like something unique about your system. If you have access to another platform (Chromebook, iPad, Android, etc.), you might try logging in from there.
