Any recommendation about LC column and SPE?

Our biomolecular lab will be established in few months.For analysis, we will buy some SPE devices(e.g. 96 plates), and LC column,of course.Any recommendation?
By the way,I received advertisements of Sepax-UCT, how about their performance and price? Our budget is OK. Any advice will be appreciated.

Well, you repeated your question, but did not clarify anything. In the absense of such clarification, I recommend the Oasis family of packings from Waters for sample preparation. You will find well established simple generic methods in the Oasis handbook.
The Waters catalog has a lot of different columns for different types of analysis, from reversed-phase columns for proteins and peptides to to reversed-phase packings for small molecules, with well established methods going along with either type.

Sepax is another brand of SPE columns of which there are many. As an employee of Waters Uwe recommends Waters products!!

Each analysis needs to researched - there is no one size fits all. Can you give an example of what sort of compounds you will be looking at.

That's a bit normal, altough not all the forum members now the fact that Uwe is an employee of waters.
But on the other hand, I found the 2x4 strategy extremely usefull, as I have (had) no experience in the SPE field.
It gives you a good basic to start with, from which you can build up your method. I didn't found this structured way of method development in any other manufacture catalogue (or didn't search enough).

So,waters may be a good choice.However,someone told me its price is too high.
Our new lab analyze various biomolecular(protein,almost) according to contracts.I know I give a general topic,because I didn't have any detail yet. In fact I know Oasis family is an excellent SPE example.But I must make a more clearly report about column and SPE to my superior.Therefore,I need some advice from experienced operators.

You could also try to use the 2x4 strategy with cartridges other than Oasis, as long as you respect the nature of the sorbent (eg strong anion exchange, weak anion exchange, ...)
