Hi All,
Does anyone know how to verify the EP-requirement for an LOQ of 0.05% (based on peak area) corresponding with a signal-to-noise ratio (based on height) must be 10? Or otherwise, how can you calculated the minimum peak area from the (theoretical) peak height (H) derived from the formula S/N-ratio = 2*H/noise? E.G. Noise = 0.006 µV ; H=5*noise=0.03. How do you know whether you peak is then at least 0.05% (e.g. 5000 µV*sec)???

Hi

Unless I misunderstand completly it is quite simple. You calculate the concentration of the sample concentration, then take a part of it and dilute to a concentration that corresponds to 0,05% of the sample concentration and inject it.
