Anyone know if electronic supression is allowed for this method?

Thanks
John

Hi John;
You can go the the "www.epa.gov" webiste and search for the method. You'll get a hit for the PDF file so you can print it out... The method does stipulate a suppressor in the setup.

The advantage is that is you will get much more sensitivity if you do use one. This is especially true for things like bromate, which will be present in small amounts.

Certianly if you are doing analysis as a regulatory lab you should follow the method as written. If it is not for an "EPA" reason you can do this analysis on a non-suppressed system, but, you won't have as much sensitivity.
