Hi everyone,
I've got a simple question but I'm having a brain fart right now...
Yesterday in my basic HPLC class the instructor said you must always have the solvent reservoirs sitting on top of (or just higher than) the rest of the system. I don't remember what his reasoning was behind this...I know that we do it with all ours but I cant for the life of me remember why! Thanks!

When all else fails, a gravity siphon may help prevent cavitation in your pump(s).
