Can anyone recommend a good overall training course for the LC/MS that takes place in California, preferrably nearer to the East Bay? I recently signed up with Restek, but they cancelled my seminar due to economic issues.
I'm interested in learning principles and theory of HPLC, modes of separation, overview of LC/MS, LC/MS interfaces, types of mass analyzers, LC/MS method development, basic spectral interpretation, and troubleshooting and maintenance of an LC/MS system.
I would appreciate any help offered. Thanks!

There is a week-long, hands-on course held every August at University of the Pacific in Stockton:

If you need something sooner, we have a "Live on the Web" course in Bioanalytical LC-MS/MS starting in a couple of weeks:
http://www.lcresources.com/training/trlcms.html
It would cover most of what you need (except for the MS-Interpretation part).

We have an MS Interpretation course, but that won't be offered in the Bay area until December (Live on the Web in October).

If you e-mail me privately, I can fill you in on more details.
