If you send an email to stefandotbrandatthermofisherdotcom i will send you the service instruction manual with detailled information how to change the degasser (and how to open the module...).
Good luck

Does anyone have experience with a Dionex P680 LPG pump. the proportional valve is not operating at all. It appears that no voltages are applied to the solenoid valves. I am thinking that the board the valve is connected to might be faulty? Any suggestions?

I'm having a similar issue with one of our P680 pumps. Is there a way to examine the degasser? I'm guessing there is a leak in the vacuum system.

If you have Dionex pump with the integrated 4-channel degasser module (e.g. P680A LPG-4), then you can remove the degasser module component assembly (vac pump with 4 chambers and tubing plus PCB) and send the module out for professional diagnostic testing and repair [http://www.chiralizer.com/uploads/8/9/7/7/89770565/hplc_degasser_repair_services_page.pdf]. The HPLC vacuum degasser should be professionally cleaned and serviced every 4 to 5 years (their max lifetime is 4 to 5 years). A worn or damaged vacuum degasser can contaminate your mobile phase so it is important to have them professionally serviced at regular intervals, or whenever a problem is observed.

The Pump channel solenoid valves only receive DC voltage when a channel is selected via the controller (very fast).
