waters fraction colector iii

I set my fraction collector (waters fraction collector iii) up to separate my compounds by hplc. I set it on single in the windows mode and pulse from the pda to start and end the run. This works great, but I cannot access the fraction collector to set the windows graphically from empower software. Anyone can help?
