I would like to know how to wash the HPLC column(L-9 packing)after analysis of Metformin HCl.
As per the monograph the mobile phase is monobasic ammonium phosphate buffer pH3.0 adjusted with phosphoric acid.
I am using sulphonic acid modified silica column (Nucleosil 100SA ) and washing the column with 100% water, finally washing the column with aqeous methonol(10%).
Is it the right procedure or wrong
Any other solvents which can i use for better performance of the column.
Thanks in advance
