would you mind telling me please what is the role of mercaptopurine solution added to mobile phase in the assay of PHENYLMERCURY BORATE.
the mercaptopurine solution is 1mg/ml of mercaptopurine in water. and the mobile phase is a 0.005 M KH2PO4 buffer 500 ml, ACN 495 ml and mercaptopurine solution 5ml. the wave length is 293 nm and the column is a µbondapack C18 300 x 3,9 mm, 10 µm.
