A technical rep here just sent me the following link whereby they inject a sample dissolved in 3/4 of a 0.1 N HCl solution:

ZVI,
Rob is correct. 0.1N HCl is very commonly used and injected when performing dissolutions.
just peruse the FDA-Recommended Dissolution Methods which can be found at the below link
