Zompa,
I haven’t worked on this method lately because I’ve had to develop another method for different product. I will go back to the zoledronic method by late June. I will let you know if I get any good separation.

Hello Itnguy 3

I have started with Zoledronic acid using a PRP-X200 anion exchanger but I obtained one peak (ZA+Citrate+Mannitol), I would like to have your article my e-mail is: fyamin@hotmail.com

Thanks! :D

 Sorry Iavi

I can´t download that .pdf, yes I have the Acrobat Reader. Thanks all the same!!! :D

please try HFBA in Acetonitril:H2O (5:95) pH>2.5

I also found literature:

Hi All

I´ve tried with a RP-18 Luna (250 x 4.6 mm) at 45 degrees, with a mobile phase consisting of a solution of triethylammonium cloride 40 mM + 0.2 % phosphoric acid-Methanol [90:10]. Good separation of ZH and the rest, good placebo run!
I would like to konw of your experiences.

You may try another ion-pair reagent, example 4 mM tetrabutyl-ammonium-hydroxid (this is a kation and your molecule is acid) solution as eluent.
