with all due respect, there are about 800 pesticides worldwide,and many of them are not LC/MS amenable, I am wondering how ABI found 1000 to analyze. If you can, please share with the original document.

Is that the Cliquid and Japanese list one? 300 pesticides is the most I have seen from ABI'a application notes.

To be fair, I am a user of ABI machine.

i believe that used Scheduled (Timed) SRM/MRM which is a bonus pt but not in one complete run.

The limited mass range is not an issue of the system as I never saw any pesticide crossing 1000 da and when you use for peptides also it is not going be an issue as it gives multiple charged species.By using deconvolution software you can break them into singly charged species and can identify.

Please check with waters sales person that why did they use sulfadimethoxine for determining MRM sensitivity instead of regular reserpine.[/quote]

so i know there are some that wont fragment on a triple. So we do a SIM on the system.
Does anyone have a 6460 or ab's cliquid and think that it is easier to use then say waters or thermo's?

yes Thermo's system run at 1ms compared to competitors at 5ms
