Are you trying to build/buy a multidimensional LC to run under the comprehensive mode? Food matrices are frequently very complex and this technique may be of value.

Whether you wish to get a system that can run comprehensive or just multidimensional mode, perhaps it's best to look up papers by: Andrew Shalliker, Alan Sweeney, Victor Wong, Michael Gray, among many others. Because of increased system costs, you would want to weigh out your options carefully. However, the rewards can be extremely beneficial....but it has to suit your objectives.

I think there is a misunderstanding here regarding Chromeleon. There is no need to export data to Excel (although this is possible). Chromeleon contains a spreadsheet based reporting engine. You can create your Excel-like report inside Chromeleon and see the results instantaneously.

Chromeleon does have features specialized for evaluating 2D chromatography data. For example you could follow this link on our web site to see a screenshot containing a “2D Retention Mapâ€
