Ok, I agree- generally with all that.
But, I want to perform this column check, at the begining of column's life, to be sure that everything is OK with the column. Than, if my column is not ok, or if my column has a "short life"- I can write a reclamation to the suplier. So, I am interested, do the supliers accept this reclamation if I am not using the same lot and origin of SST chemicals as they do...

My experience ( refer an earlier post in this thread ) is that suppliers will accept your results and exchange a new column - even if you are using standards from other sources, and they will give a significant discount on a replacement new column if the column fails quickly for no apparent reason.

In one case, the discount was given immediately, in the other, they waited until their technical people had examined/tested the column before crediting the discount.

If you purchase a lot of columns ( I don't ) from a supplier, they are probably more likely to exchange/replace without question.
