WK - Imagine the fun I am having trying to read through these responses with a teenager! (Hint: I'm a non-technical person.)

Sam wanted me to thank everyone for their posts. It has certainly given him a lot to read through and learn as he prepares his project. In his current reading he found that two people found hard black chunks in their dry dog food. He read that the second chunk was not able to be dissolved in the lab, however, apparently the first chunk was. He's trying to determine now why one would not dissolve and would that mean it is probably not a food or vitamin substance. (I think I've been out of school too long!)
