an old favorite - fortnights per furlong (snail races, anyone?)

To be consistent with other speed values in the US, we should use cubic feet per fortnight as a measure of flow rate. It ain't off by too much from the standard 1 mL/min, and it makes the chromatography run some 30% faster. This should appeal to any manager...
