I forgot to mention that the method contains parameters for CTC/PAL but was validated using agilent G1888 Headspace Sampler (transfer line).
Does the G1888 gives more accurate results?

If the method was validated on a G1888 then it would not have had the initial parameters you listed such as injection volume (as it is a fixed size loop on G1888) or injection speed. Also it would have most likely have the split vent open if a transfer line was used.
As for whether it's a more accurate instrument, that would depend a lot on the method parameters. However in my experience they are quite robust instruments, and with well optimised methods they have rarely let me down.

My main gripe with loop and valve headspace samplers is caryover. I have problems with caryover of alcohols, carboxylic acids and aldehydes even with the deactived silicosteel line (5% or so). Another variable listed is the septa purge loss but I haven't found that to be a big issue.

The method contains an option for both CTC/PAL and agilent G1888-transfer line, but the validation of the method was only done with G1888.
