blown degasser? dead lamp? air in flow cell? air in system?

Nothing seems to be stuck, and if it is, it is not coming out anyway.
Washed flow cell with water, 20%MeOH, 80% MeOH and 100% isopropanol.
No changes.
I cut off the light path with a piece of paper and it does take out the signal completely (flat lines), and once the paper is removed the signal comes back up with same amplitude of noise.

Problem remains to be solved.

My colleague mentioned the pre-amplifier boards ...
Any thought on that?

Just to give an answer in the end.
The pre amplifier board had most likely died and we now have a new detector...
