Is there a sensitivity check I can use the assay/verify the sensitivity of the FID by injecting say either n-alkanes or reference flavor like linalool or limonene. I am injecting 1ul splitless and still have some doubts about sensitivity. It doesn't look like I am able to get much below ~4ppm.

BTW I hear a loud tap when I turn the P valve off and a slight shift when I turn it on.
