Att PittCon there were several vendors with fast TOFs with varying degrees of High Resolution. The folks who make the Pegasus (LECO) have a high res. TOF that acquires at a fairly high rate as well. Zoex was showing a system which has fairly high resolution, which they use for GCxGC. DANI was there - but I don't remember if they were unit mass or high res. I gather that the Micromass sytem (Waters) is still out there, but I've not run into it at a show in the past few years.
Over the next few years, we should have a nice horse race going in the field of high res TOF instruments. And I wish success to all the entrants in that race, because we on the customer side will ultimately win.
