Me and Excel are best friends (most of the time), outside of that a simple scientific calculator.
Excel and a calculator for the "basic" stuff, R for the statistical side of the job

I love XCalc! It's a free RPN calculator from Bernt Ribbum in Norway. It toggles from regular size to an unobtrusive mini size. I've installed it on most of the lab computers.
