I want to add to what lmh was saying. The issue isn't just about pirating software, it is about ethics and common sense. People and companies should be paid when someone used their products. We can argue about how much they are paid, but we should not argue about the fact that they should be paid.

For your situation, you can transfer your files to the computer with the newer software (each folder in the \Data directory that ends with .D is an injection. Transfer all the contents of these folders to the new computer and view the files.

Or, you can search for third party suppliers of used ChemStation software. You should be able to purchase an older spectra license for a relatively small fee, although I do not know if it will be less than $500.
