Thanks for posting the solution you found. Now, you need to post a picture of you recieving your degree on the "around the water cooler " section... ;-)

You will have to wait for at least 5 months for that. I know that my graduation will be on October or November, but the precise date is not yet known. Maybe, until then, I'll post photos from my summer vacations here in Greece:) Party time now.

Thank you for the update, and congratulations.

This is a really strange case - I would expect contaminants at the inlet end of the column to cause peak tailing and extra retention. How much did you cut off ?

Thanks for the compliments.

Ι cut off about 21cm of the column and it was really dirty.
The contaminants at the inlet end of the column had changed the color of the column, from copper to almost black.
I feared that cutting the column would have no effect and I would have to change the column, that would be nightmare!

Ι was lucky and everything went well. :D
