Since you're using MS, things are a bit different than for PCB analysis by ECD or Hall. You need to look at chlorination level, and group the compounds that way - eg., Cl1, Cl2, etc. See USEPA method 680 for some ideas. It changes the way you report things - rather than looking at Arochlors, you actually can report by chlorination level - much more useful.
You will get significant interference using the base ions for Cl4 and Cl5 from oils. Switch to alternate ions for these chlorination levels.
Since you're using a trap, remember that you have WAY more sensitivity than you normally need - dilution will aid greatly.
