Seeni,
I don't know the thermo software (yet - I'm starting to use a MAT 95, so that will change), but the GC/MS software I've encountered from tohter vendors allows you to set some kind of detection threshold - and changing that should allow for more or fewer peaks to be found. And, once you have found many peaks, there should be a way of selecting specific target compunds for reporting. So, you should be able to find many compunds in a mixture and then report relative concentrations for a selected list.
Again if you need TIC information and you do not have a way to get it out of your software, I know you can get it out of AMDIS. It has reporting and target analysis capabilities. Worst case it will get you almost all the way there and you take a list of peaks and deconvoluted areas to a spreadsheet to get relative percents.
You will have to do some exploring. But, it will get you to wonderful places you never dreamed of.
Good luck.
Don
