Could anyone please tell me why my Agilent 7890A/5975C GC/MS with E.02.00.493 MSD Chemstation injection sequence abort suddently for no reason. The error logbook shows "ManualMode Neither GC Nor Ms data collected". Many Thanks.

Sorry but Agilent logs often contain no usable information as to what happened. Often I see that generic statement when something fails at the end of data collection when the temporary files are converted to .MS. It can be as simple as a duplicate file name in your sequence or as hard to find as a corrupt address in the mass spectrometer. If the computer you have is the orginal HP with the hard drive partioned into C: and D: check the C: for space. Updates can fill it up until the system won't run.
If it is intermittent, try shutting down and restarting everything.
I often have to sit in front it until it fails.
Good luck!
