unsulfated matter and Kathon CG testing

Hi everyone!
I have to do this testing on surfactant and vendor method goes over my head. Any clue of doing this testing in easy step without any instrumental validation.
Please let me know if you have any information about these testing.

We've assayed unsulfated matter by both HPLC and high-temperature capillary GC. There's even been a publication on the high-temperature GC assay of unsulfonated (analogous to unsulfated) matter in linear alkybenzenesulfonates. Journal of Surfactants and Detergents

We've assayed for Kathon CG in materials by HPLC for 30 years, pretty much use the suppliers procedure (gradient, H2O-acetic acid plus methanol, on C18 column, UV detection). Both the methylisothiazolinone and the methylchloroisothiazolinone peaks are measured independently.

No, no - I work in R&D, and we only do assays for our own company.

Contract lab Adamson Laboratories in California should be experienced in preservatives such as Kathon CG as they support consumer products. Ask them about unsulfated matter; there are official AOCS (American Oil Chemists Association) test methods for this, believe also ASTM, etc.
