Hi all,

I going to setup a GC method for methane analysis in air. Anyone knows what is the typical concentration of methane in air (v/v) (just urban air).

Thanks for reading.

Thanks. I've found the information.

How is that methane analysis coming along? Are you using an FID? Standard concentration range? I use a multistandard and build standards from 0.5 to 3.0 ppm. Problem is, I can't resolve my sensitivity yet. i use PP-Q columns and an Agilent GC with an MPS autosampler.

I am trying to use Carbonplot column and manual injection.
1.0 ppm and the like is no problem , but I am having problem of RSD. May be I have to add-in a sampling valve.
May we exchange the methods via email?
