Hi All,

What is peak delineation? and What tools are used to delineate?

Further, what is peak tracking and matching?

These terms all have to do with the correct naming of peaks over the course of a run and from run to run as retention times tend to shift a bit because of column aging, variations in mobile phase prep., dwell volume differences between different LCs etc. etc.
Thanks,
DR

I'm not familiar with the term "dedlineation". Perhaps you mean "intergration" (measuring the area under a peak, and allocating the areas to partially resolved peaks) or "deconvolution" (extracting individual peaks from partially resolved sets of peaks)?

Peak matching, as indicated by DR, refers to establishing which peaks in one run correspond to peaks in another run when things change. Peak tracking is following the changes in retention of a given peak as conditions change
