On an Agilent SEC system hooked up with older components, we use several ADC units to convert analog to optical fiber, which is then send to a data collection. The ADC, >15 years old, has failed, unfortunately.. are there any hints on where used parts like this may be found? The alternative is quite expensive..

Seem like Analog->Optic->Whatever is quite simplified data path.
Please clarify:
SEC Detector (principle?) -> analog connection (where?,voltage or current range?) -> ADC (channels?,resolution?) -> optical connector (type?) -> data system (name?,version?)
