Hi Hopefully some one can help us. We purchased a used Sedex 75, but having a problem with it. It turn on fine, goes thru self test, but then when you try to press any of the buttons nothing happens. Pressing set does not shift between "temprature, gain or signal". Please advise us if we doing anything wrong or the unit might be defective. Huge thank you in advance.

We just had our Agilent 1200 (a rebadged Sedex model 85LT) delivered & installed yesterday.
Nice unit with an inteligent nebulizer design.
And after 2 years have had to fork out 6k in repairs as one of the 3 circuit boards in the detector was fried. Their prices range from 5.5k to 7.5k.
Good judgment comes from bad experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Hey. I have a shimadzu ELSD LT2. We recently accidentally pulled the green tubing with the very fine internal white tubing out of the inlet of the nebulizer chamber. The fine tubing that extends out of the green tubing became very kinked and is very hard to thread through the hollow metal needle. Additionally I can't seem to figure out where or how the green nebulizer inlet tubing seals so solvent keeps leaking out the top. I eventually sliced off the shrink rubber seal on the outside so I could take it apart further while trying to thread the fine tubing. Does anybody have extra inlet tubing or know how to put it back together?
