Method 524.2/8260. Agilent 6890/5975 and Tekmar Atomx purge and trap.
I'm experiencing peak tailing in the early eluters after running a very dirty sample. I've replaced the column (Restek 624 30x0.25x1.40), new inlet liner and gold seal, cleaned the source and installed a new trap. I've checked the flow at the split vent and replaced the split vent trap. I've baked out the condensor, the transfer line and trap oven. I changed the 40:1 split ratio to 45:1 just to see if there was some kind of change but It looked about identical. The peak tailing hasn't gone away.
Anything I might be missing here?
