ANALYTICAL LAB MANAGEMENT

Hi to all,

I would like to recommend if it is possible to have a complete thread about analytical lab management or lab management.

So, it would be very helpful to those people working in labs as well as those managing labs.

I tried my best looking for a unique source of information related to that but i could not,,,

If any could give me or guide me to any link, site, books otherwise i still recommend to have our own site or resource.

by James E. Tingstad

He used to write "The Technical Manager" column for Pharmaceutical Technology.

There is also a monthly journal called "Laboratory manager" that can be of interest to you.

I do agree with all what have been said,

My point was is to have a reliable source and unique for those people managing an working in labs.

The site or the thread of lab management should concentrate on differenet issues, such as management point of view, lab design, manpower, LIMS, chemicals control, managing equipment, suggestions and etc..

What i am thinking of right now is that we are from different type of jobs' backgrounds working in different laboratories, why not to share knowledge, expereince, practices or anything tha could be shared to add value either to your organization or ur self.

last not least, still looking forward for a serious move toward this vision and all the coorporations are needed.

The organization I was trying to remember is ALMA, the Association of Lab Managers. Here is there website:
