Hello All,
A universal detector is any analysts dream. We are using RI in our lab successfully but it does have its limitations such as no gradient and poor sensitivity, of course.
I recently learned about about an FID detector (Solvere) for HPLC that functions like a methanizer after evaporation of the mobile phase. It is an analog to the Polyarc for GC.
Has anyone used it? I would live to learn about your experience and drawbacks to consider.
