Hello,

I need to determine the PTFE content in a polymer and want to do this by measuring fluorine with IC after polymer digestion. Has anybody experience with digestion of PTFE and can give me an effective and quantitatively method?

Thanks in advance
Flower

I wonder if the good old Lassaigne digestion with molten Na will work? If it does, all the fluorine will be conveniently converted into fluoride.
