Larger Sample Volume in Empower

Good afternoon.

I am using Empower 3 FR2 to run a Shimadzu 20 Series HPLC. It was set up with a 100 uL sample loop and the autosampler was set at MAX inj Volume of 100 uL.

I changed the sample loop to a 2 mL, and changed the MAX inj Volume on the autosample to 2000 uL. When I logged into Empower, it shows the max inj volume on the instrument controller in the bottow left corner as 2000 uL.

When I try to inject more than 100 uL, Empower gives me an error and says "injection volume is not correct, or vial is not there". 100 uL injections work as always, 101 uL gives me an error.

Any thoughts about what I may have overlooked?
Check your instrument control program version w/ both Shimadzu and Empower. I'm guessing you've missed an update, or there is some incompatibility issue with your Shimadzu's firmware and the ICP you're running.
Thanks,
DR
