We have recentlypurchased this model of nitrogen generator to provide nebuliser gas for an Agilent 6100 series LCMS. While setting up the generator you are given two flow options 1) pressure switching i.e. turning itself on and off at high and low pressure setpoints and 2) continous operation i.e you set an upper pressure and any excess nitrogen is vented. With pressure switching you obviously must get some variability in flow rate. Which mode is most suitable for LCMS?
