KISS (keep it simple silly) theory: Don't complicate the situation unless need be. In other words, don't buffer the organic unless there is a need.
KITS (keep it the same) theory: Put some buffer in B, because there is some in A.
These are "vanilla versions" of the arguments, but I wanted to hear what others had to say w/o leading the argument in the right (my) way
