hai every body
i have a doubt. how to define resolution in MSMS
please give me good answer.

On quad and trap instruments, my experience is that it is usually defined as the full peak width at half-maximum (FWHM), whether you are doing MS or MS/MS. For quads set to "unit" resolution, this is about 0.6 to 0.8 m/z. Some ion traps will have better resolution than this (smaller FWHM) on the standard resolution setting.
