Yesterday someone accidently rebooted the MS(ESI, Triplequadrupole, Micromass,).It seems nothing wrong happened. Then I ran a biosample with LC-MS (tandam MS). I got the expected peaks with very good shape and intensity. But when I ran an authentic standard under direct injusion mode. I found the parent ions which were supposed to be fragemented very easily were really hard to be broken (I have tested that standard a couple of times). Why? I used the same method as the one I used before.

Does anyone know what is the reason?

Run out of Argon or other collision gas?
