alendronate anaysis

the method for the analysis of alendronate by FMOC derivatization in pH 9.0 borate buffer and then extracting in DCM works perfectly but the area of the alendronate peak varies evertime. is this method reproducible , according to me it is difficult to get same results

When you say the area varies, do you mean for the same vial you get different areas depending on the time of injection? Is the variation random or is there a trend?
I have found that to get reliable FMOC derivatization, you need rapid and vigorous mixing of the reagent with the sample.
