choice of QC's concentrations

How should the concentrations for QC samples be chosen? Is it ok if they are identical with calibrator concentrations? All I could find on this topic from FDA was that low QC must be within 3x from LLOQ.
I see that in literature typically QC's concentrations are different from calibrators. What's the rationale behind that?

I don't think it matters much. Take the attitude that "everything that is not forbidden is permitted". :wink:
