Hi everyone,

Is this fuel gas filter finished?

Could this be the reason for my second post?

[p.s. you guys are awesome!]
Hello,

I currently run the above conditions for over 6 months, no problem.

I come back after scheduled maintenance from JayTee and the front inlet gas no longer reaches ready state.

When I decrease the make up flow, ready state is active and I obtain a spectrum which has higher adsorption than my calibrated sample.
I also noticed that the column flow decreases from 5ml/min gradually and the Electrometer increases from 42pA.

Additional information, another two GC's work from the same hydrogen generator.
What type of hydogren generator are you using? Assuming you use the generator for carrier and fuel, you're at ~1200 mL/min for that single GC. Add two more, and you may be exceeding the capacity of hydrogen generator. When the GC is in that state, what's load on the generator? Many will be able to display this.

Hi Jake,
the Hydrogen Generator is a H2PEM-100 / H2PEM-165 / H2PEM-260 / H2PEM-510.
We have a separate nitrogen generator on another line.
We have compressed air coming from the department.
I will try a display the load on the generator when running today.
Yes, we had spares
"H2PEM-100 / H2PEM-165 / H2PEM-260 / H2PEM-510" Which one do you have? That's a line of hydrogen generators by Parker. The number represents the maximum flow capacity in mL of each model. So if you have an H2PEM-510, its maximum flow is 510 mL/min. The pictures you posted show a total hydrogen flow of 1100 mL/min, which far exceeds the capacity of the hydrogen generator.
