Hello everyone,

My Ultimate pump (v.6.0) from Dionex has been down, showing high pressure message and halted the pump by itself. After going through a series of trouble shooting, it looks like either (1) the firmware or (2) the mother board (which is more hassle to replace) is the problem. I'd like to try the firmware option firsrt, so I was wondering if anyone has had similar problems and happen to have the firmware available to share?

Thank you very much,
DL

PS: I've contacted Dionex but am not sure when I'll get ahold of it....

have you tried going to the server configuration?

from there you should be able to access your ultimate pump and perform a download of the firmeware which is installed on your pc.

You didn't say, but can we assume that you are using Chromeleon software for pump control? Look for C:\chromel\bin\P680.hex. You need to use the Server Configuration program to download it to the pump. You probably ought to obtain the latest service pack for your version. It will have the up-to-date firmware.

If you are not using Chromeleon, you will just have to wait for Dionex service to show up.
